Erica's 65 Roses Benefit
Erica Ward has Cystic Fibrosis, a lung disease that will in time take her life unless she is able to receive a double lung transplant soon. As you can imagine this is not cheap. She will need to move closer to a transplant center where she will undergo testing before being put on the transplant list. She will then need to wait for a match. We are trying to raise as much money as possible to make this happen. We will also be holding a benefit for her at the Pines in Chelsea, VT on Saturday, December 15th, 2012. The benefit will consist of an auction, dinner & live entertainment by Ken O'Dell, also more items will be on a table and if they're to large for the table we will include a picture and description of the item. The auction will start at 3:00pm and end at 7:00pm. The dinner will start at 5:00pm and go until 7:00pm. The live entertainment will begin at 9pm and continue until closing. All alcoholic beverages will still be charged as normal. Tickets for the benefit will be $25.00. You can purchase the tickets at The Pines, Flanders Market & the Chelsea Pizza House in Chelsea, VT and Ward's Garage in Vershire, VT. If you are unable to attend, but would like to make a donation, please click on the donate tab. If you would like to donate something for the silent auction please send an e-mail to [email protected].
"My sister needs this, without it she will die and I can't loose my sister. I really, really can't. This is hard enough having to deal with and she has been through so much and come so far. She really deserves all the help she can get. Please help me save my sister because I can't do it alone and I can't loose her. I've come too close too many times and I know my family couldn't bare it. She's a fighter and will survive this disease with your help. Please give her a chance to prove that to you all."

- clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
- obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
